Alex Rosenberg
W.W. Norton
500 - 5th Avenue, New York NY 10110
9780393080230, $25.95, www.wwnorton.com

The Atheist's Guide to Reality: Enjoying Life Without Illusions isn't another book arguing against religious beliefs, but a survey that provides a positive perspective for unbelievers who want a blueprint for leading "the reality-driven life". Chapters offer perspectives of science as a worldview, discuss the nature of reality and meaning in an atheist's life, and considers the deepest questions religion addresses that science can also survey. The subtitle 'enjoying life' says it all - and sets this apart from similar-sound - but very different - approaches to atheism and meaning.
