Shel Horowitz

I'll write materials (news releases, brochures, fliers, articles, PSAs, backgrounders, newsletters, etc.) -- cheaply, rapidly, and well. On some of these projects, if their needs are simple, I also handle design. But I'm not really a full-service publicist in that I really don't have media contacts outside Western Massachusetts and try to stay away from placement.

My areas of greatest strength are arts, small business, services, high-tech, politics, and of course, small press. But I'll take on pretty much anything unless I find it deeply offensive. For instance, I will not promote a pro-tobacco or anti-gay client -- but I might do a moderate Republican even if they didn't get my vote. I even had some negotiations with a Libertarian publisher a while back.
